Interview by Caitie Kelly
I start in the morning with Noble Panacea’s Cleansing Balm and Exfoliating Refiner, Preparation Essence and Brilliant Glow Hydration Oil. That makes me really glowy and dewy. Then I use the Active Replenishing Moisturizer. I throw my hair up in a ponytail most days. The only [hair products] I love are the Ouai Fine Hair Shampoo and the Oribe Intense Conditioner for Moisture and Control that I’ll leave in my hair. I have about seven strands, and I’m holding on to them for dear life.
I don’t wear a lot of makeup, usually just Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. If I’m doing something, Biologique Recherche Eye Care Concealer is incredible. It’s so light and delicate. Merit also has a concealer stick I love. Shiseido’s Revitalessence Foundation is one of the best I’ve used. It’s really light but leaves you dewy. I’ll put Merit’s Flush Balm and a Dior Rosy Glow Powder Blush 001 over it. I don’t mind looking a little flushed. I use an eyeliner from Rituel de Fille and, if I’m going out at night, I’ll use the Cate lash from [my brand] Loveseen and the Sephora Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick. If I want drama, I’ll use Noor and do a smoky eye. I love these creamy new Solo Shadows from Merit.
If I have a lot of makeup on, I use Makeup Forever Gentle Eye Gel, which is good at getting it off so I don’t have to rub. I’ll use the same cleanser at night with a washcloth and water, then a toner like Biologique Recherche Lotion P50, followed by Noble Panacea’s Brilliant Glow Hydration Oil. I leave packets of Chronobiology Sleep Mask by my bed so I can slather that on right before I go to sleep. I go to Joanna Czech for facials, and Dr. Belkin is my dermatologist. I wish I had the Lyma Laser earlier, I think it’s really great.
I have a Hinoki Body Oil I love from Wonder Valley. I’m religious about the U Beauty the Sculpt Arm Compound, and they have a Resurfacing Body Compound I love. I use a Raw Honey Crystal Mask from Tata Harper on my butt — I don’t think it’s for your butt, I think it’s for your face, but that’s where I put it. I will not travel without Kiehl’s Creme de Corps. Every day for 18 years, I’ve worn Creed Silver Mountain Water. My son won’t let me change it … maybe when he goes to college I will.
